Former Florence County Councilman Ken Ard took the oath of office and was sworn in as Lieutenant Governor of South Carolina on Wednesday.
Ard's Chief of Staff will be Brant Branham of Myrtle Beach.
Branham served two terms as Chairman of the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce and is a real estate appraiser with E.F. Hucks and Associates.
Branham's father, Lester Branham, is a South Carolina State Representative from Florence County.
