Police arrested Jayshure Lashane Hannah, 18, the night of December 31.
A Mullins man faces several charges after police arrested him during a New Year's Eve Saturation Operation, conducted by the Mullins Police Department and the Marion County Gang Unit.
They arrested Jayshure Lashane Hannah, 18, the night of December 31 when they say they found him naked in a vehicle suspiciously parked in an alley next to a city-owned building. Reports show a handgun with an obliterated serial number was found inside the vehicle after Hannah was ordered to exit. The weapon was loaded and had a round chambered in battery which means it was ready to fire. Several rounds of ammunition, along with a rubber Halloween mask were also found.
Hannah has been charged with indecent exposure, unlawful carrying of a pistol, and possession of a handgun with an obliterated serial number. More charges are possible.
The weapon was taken to the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division's laboratory for forensic processing.
