(AP) -- DENVER (AP) - Facebook has agreed to modify its terms and conditions of use for state agencies after Colorado and 14 other states objected to some of them.

Changes announced Wednesday by Colorado Attorney General John Suthers include striking provisions that call for resolving legal disputes in California courts and compensation for liability, harm or loss.

Suthers says the changes are similar to those reached last year with federal agencies.

In addition to Colorado, other states participating in negotiations with the social networking site were Alaska, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Massachusetts, Mississippi, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, Utah and Washington.
