Public Information Officer Pat Dowling says officers arrested James Thomas Smith, 24 around 3:10pm Tuesday.
The North Myrtle Beach Department of Public Safety arrested an armed robbery suspect we first reported Monday on CarolinaLive.com and NewsChannel 15.
Public Information Officer Pat Dowling says officers arrested James Thomas Smith, 24 around 3:10pm Tuesday.
Dowling says undercover officers saw Smith in the 1200 block of 12th Avenue South in North Myrtle Beach, but he ran off. After a short foot chase ending on 9th Avenue in the Palmwood Estates subdivision, Dowling says Smith was captured.
Smith was wanted in connection on two counts of armed robbery with a deadly weapon. The robberies occurred between December 9, 2010 and December 28, 2010.
