A judge sentenced Johnson to five years in prison on the manslaughter charge. He gave Johnson two years for the firearm charge. The sentences are to be served consecutively.
Johnson faces a federal gun charge in connection with Clayton's death.
During his pretrial conference, Johnson could decide to plead guilty or proceed with a trial.
