The large snowstorm ripping through the Northeast has led to the cancellation of several flights out of Myrtle Beach International Airport.

Passengers trying to get to Newark, Atlantic City and New York Monday morning were left stranded.

Spirit, Continental and Air Canada were among the airlines that weren't able to offer passengers many options. The blizzard has crippled travel so badly that those trying to reach their Northeastern destinations have to wait out the storm.

On Sunday, seven flights out of Myrtle Beach were delayed and four were canceled because of the snow.

The New York airports are expected to start operating Tuesday.
