Man wanted for burgularies arrested in New Jersey

A North Carolina man who was arrested in Atlantic City, New Jersey for a string of burglaries in Surfside Beach has been extradicted back to Horry County to face charges.

Billy Jack Hanna, 39, waived his extradition earlier this week in New Jersey and is now is being held at the J. Reuben Long detention center in Conway.

He faces five counts of burglary in the 1st degree and grand larceny charges.

Myrtle Beach police have also charged Hanna with financial transaction card theft.
