Hard Rock International is hosting a Battle of the Bands to find local talent that could end up with a spot in the music festival, Hard Rock Calling 2011 in London's Hyde Park.
The event is in celebration of Hard Rock's 40th anniversary.
The winner of Hard Rock Cafe Myrtle Beach's Battle of the Bands will be placed in one of four world regional categories, which will be narrowed down by a panel of acclaimed industry experts.
The top four bands will be posted on Hard Rock's website where fans worldwide will vote.
The four regional winners will be flown to London for the June 24 - June 26 festival.
Hard Rock says the band that receives the most fan votes will open for one of the festival's iconic headliners at the festival, with the runners-up on the Second Stage.
