Officials accuse SC daycare worker of lewd conduct

(AP) -- SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) - A 22-year-old Spartanburg County daycare worker is accused of inappropriate contact with four children ages 3 to 6.

The Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office reported that Ronasha Taylor of Simpsonville was charged Wednesday with four counts of lewd act on a minor. A report accuses Taylor of having the children lick her breasts.

A woman who answered Taylor's home phone said there's nothing to talk about and hung up. An employee at Kids R Kids daycare in Greer said she could not comment and referred questions to the owner, who did not immediately respond to phone and e-mail messages. A sheriff's spokesman said in an e-mail daycare management fully

cooperated with the investgation.

The report says the investigation began Oct. 18, with a referral from the Department of Social Services.
