A women's organization came to our Florence newsroom Friday to donate toys for needy children.
Women in Need or WIN wanted to donate the toys to the Florence Police Department's Community Action Team to help a needy family.
The team gives toys to children every year. WIN says it's a part of their mission to help those who are in need.
"If children are in need, we should be there, and that's what our organization also stands for love, respect, and honor and having love, respect, and honor, how can you deny a child?" asked WIN Founder and CEO Phanessia Harrell.
