Horry County's Council is officially set for the next four years. Incumbent and newly elected county council members were sworn into office Thursday afternoon in downtown Conway.
The Oath of Office was taken by returning council members - Harold Worley, Brent Schulz, James Frazier, Carl Schwartzkopf and Al Allen, as well as new members Paul Prince and the new council Chairman Tom Rice, who will replace Liz Gilland.
Rice says his first order of business will be the local economy and how he can help spur job creation.
Liz Gilland lead Thursday's swearing-in ceremony.
