(AP) -- Four businesses on the South Carolina coast that were the target of fire bombings last month have reopened and are sharing space and equipment.
The Island Packet of Hilton Head reports the companies in Bluffton are working in shared space in the same plaza while their old locations are renovated.
The companies include a bicycle store, golf cart outlet, fan dealer and a store that sells windows. The businesses are working with folding tables and the few items they were able to salvage from the fires.
Authorities say arsonists struck at six businesses in the area last month. In most cases a flaming object, usually Molotov cocktail, was thrown into the business. Authorities are still investigating.
