Governor-elect Nikki Haley chose attorney Catherine Templeton to head the state agency that enforces professional licensing and labor laws. Templeton is a labor and employment lawyer.

If confirmed by the state senate, she'll run the Labor, Licensing and Regulation Department.

"We have moral issues. We've got slowness. We've got regulatory issues that are not working well and we know someone who is going to go in there and clean this up and Catherine is the person to do it," Haley said.

Haley announced Monday she chose BMW Executive Bobby Hitt to lead the State Commerce Department.
