(AP) -- COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - Sarah Palin is stopping in Columbia to promote her new book, "American by Heart."
Palin is scheduled to finish up her book tour on Friday at a local Books-a-Million store.
Palin went on the road Nov. 23 to promote the book, her first since the million-selling memoir "Going Rogue."
An overwhelming majority of South Carolina Republicans said they approved of the former Alaska governor in an exit poll after the Nov. 2 general election. But voters were split among Palin, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee when asked which candidate they favored to be the party's nominee in 2012.
Palin came to Columbia in May to endorse now Gov.-elect Nikki Haley in her quest for South Carolina's GOP gubernatorial nomination.
