The weekend after Thanksgiving is traditionally when families start putting up their holiday decorations.
This is the second year Salvatore Giresi has set up shop selling the popular centerpiece.
He says last year business was hard with the economy, but this time around he's doing much better, "last year all together we did about 300 trees all together you know compared to this year it's only been a couple of days and we're well on our way to almost beating that."
Giresi says this year it's all about how many trees he sells instead of how much money he makes.
In case you're getting a live tree, here are a few tips you might want to consider.
Experts say to keep your tree in a stand with plenty of water. If your tree dries out that makes is easy to catch fire.
Also, use lights that produce low heat on your tree and keep displayed trees away from heat sources like fireplaces, heaters, and direct sunlight.
