A Georgetown man disappeared on Thanksgiving Day 2003 and remains missing seven years later.

Garrett "Gary" Hughes disappeared from the Manor House in Georgetown. His family first thought he may be trying to return from Fayetteville, North Carolina, where he was originally from.

Georgetown County deputies say Hughes has short-term memory loss and was on medication for seizures and other health problems. He suffered two blows to the head when he was 30 years old and doesn't remember things that have happened since then.

Hughes is five feet, nine inches tall, weighing approximately 180 pounds. He was 45 years old when he disappeared.

If you have any information on where Hughes may be, you're asked to call the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office at (843) 546-5102.
