An animal rescue group is holding a fundraiser Saturday to help them care for 179 Chihuahuas seized from a woman's home last month.

The dogs were taken from the home on Allen Drive. The Marion County animal shelter, run by Paws to the Rescue, tells us only 75 are left. Another rescue group picked up some of the dogs and others have been adopted.

The shelter still needs supplies like detergent and flea treatments.

Saturday, Paws to the Rescue will host its annual fundraiser at Dusty Hills Country Club on Highway 76 in Marion County.

There will be a silent auction and dinner starting at 5:00pm.
