Darlington County deputies, US Marshals and Hartsville police arrested Cory Hamilton, 31, of Hartsville Friday. They say he was involved in two separate shootings.

Investigators say in August, Hamilton shot a Hartsville man in the leg when the two got in an argument. The victim recovered.

Police say in September, Hamilton shot a second man after an argument while he was wanted for the first shooting. That victim also recovered.

They arrested Hamilton at Forest Ridge Apartments in Hartsville without incident.

Hamilton is in the Darlington County Detention Center awaiting bond on charges of assault and battery first degree, attempted murder, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
