A couple and their 19-year-old daughter have pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute oxycodone.
US Attorney Bill Nettles says Ralph Easley, 55, Christina Easley, 40, and their daughter, Tonya Easley, 19, all of Conway, issued the plea Friday morning in federal court in Florence.
United States District Judge R. Bryan Harwell will sentence the three after reviewing the presentence report being prepared by the U.S. Probation Office.
Evidence presented at the hearing established that the Easleys operated a Roxicodone distribution ring from August 2009 until May 2010.
Prosecutors say at least six people were involved in forging prescriptions, giving the group more than 2,300 tablets. Some of the pills were for personal use, and prosecutors say the others were sold to raise money to fill more prescriptions.
Nettles says the maximum penalty each can get is a fine of $1,000,000 and/or imprisonment for 20 years, plus a special assessment of $100.
