Friday, Governor-elect Nikki Haley will meet with her transition team for the first time.
Haley announced her transition team on Tuesday in Columbia. She and her team are expected to start looking at resumes to fill staff positions.
The Southeastern Institute for Women in Politics wants to make sure women get some of those positions. The institute received hundreds of resumes. It plans to work with a liaison in the governor's office to submit the resumes of women interested in serving on Haley's boards and commissions.
