(AP) -- A Spartanburg woman has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for fatally stabbing her boyfriend in the back last year.
Multiple media outlets reported that 26-year-old Pamela Marie Teal pleaded guilty Monday to voluntary manslaughter.
She admitted stabbing 35-year-old James Moore twice during an argument in August 2009 in her father's home. Witnesses say the two were drinking beer and arguing about money.
Prosecutors say Teal left Moore unconscious in a bathroom. She was found in nearby Pacolet and charged with murder.
Prosecutors say she must serve at least 80 percent of the judge's sentence before she's eligible for parole.
