CONWAY, S.C. (AP) - Some South Carolina veterans think there should be more than a parade to honor those who served their country.
The response is an entire day of events in Conway on Saturday.
The events feature a breakfast and lunch, live music, military equipment displays and remembrance ceremonies, including the hoisting of a new Missing In Action flag.
There are also speeches and the posting of the colors at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Conway.
Veterans Day is next Thursday.
