Florence County deputies charged Levi Cory Wells, 17, of with Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Minor and Committing a Lewd Act Upon a Child Under the Age of Sixteen.
Deputies say between June and August of 2009, Wells assaulted the victim in Florence County.
According to a press release, if convicted, Wells could be sentenced to prison for up to 20 years on the Criminal Sexual Conduct Charge and up to 15 years in prison and a fine in the discretion of the court, or both on the Lewd Act charge.
Wells is being held at the Florence County Detention Center.
