Conway and Horry County firefighters responded to a home on Westridge Road Wednesday afternoon for a report of smoke coming out of the home.
Firefighters put the fire out, which they believe may have started in a back bedroom.
They say no one was home, but the family had two dogs and a cat. One dog has been located.
