When the polls opened Tuesday morning, FBI agents and the U.S. Attorney's Office in South Carolina were ready to receive any voter fraud complaints that may come in throughout the day.

U.S. Attorney Bill Nettles announced last week that Assistant United States Attorney/ DEO Barbara Murcier Bowens will be on duty in the state to receive complaints from the public. She can be reached at the following telephone numbers: (803) 929-3052 or (803) 212-8261.

Nettles said the FBI will have Special Agents available in each Field Office and Resident Agency in South Carolina to receive allegations of election fraud and other election abuses. The FBI can be reached by the public at the following telephone number: (803) 214-5630.

NewsChannel 15's Tim McGinnis will be speaking with Mr. Nettles this afternoon and he'll have a full report on the process tonight on NewsChannel 15 at Six and here on CarolinaLive.com.
