When 7:00am hit Tuesday morning, 120 precincts throughout Horry County opened to voters waiting to cast their ballots.

Horry County Public Information Officer Lisa Bourcier says there have been a few minor glitches, with a machine down here and there, but at least one machine was up and running at each of the 120 precincts.

Long lines are reported at many of the locations.

Bourcier says a total of 6,200 absentee ballots were issued , but that doesn't mean all of them will be completed.

There are 700 volunteers working throughout the county at the polling locations.

There are 152,517 registered voters in Horry County
