Hundreds of PEZ collectors from all over the country are here for the 10th Annual "Pez in the Sun" convention.
Collectors buy, sell, and trade the candy dispensers that come in an endless variety of characters. Some collectors traveled hundreds of miles to get to the Grand Strand and have unique methods of transporting the dispensers.
"I have two large suitcases and I have these display boxes. Each one of them holds about 34-38 Pez and I stack it all together and pack it in my suitcases and away I go," said Ron Jones, North Port, Florida.
This year's event benefits the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
It will be open to the public at the Springmaid Beach Resort in Myrtle Beach on Saturday from 10:00am to 5:00pm.
