(AP) -- HORRELL HILL, S.C. (AP) - The Highway Patrol says three people have died after a wreck in eastern Richland County.
Multiple media outlets reported the wreck happened late Thursday night north of Horrell Hill.
Lance Cpl. Judd Jones says a teen driving a sports utility vehicle turned left onto state Highway 262 and struck a tree.
Officials say a 20-year-old Eastover woman, a 20-year-old Columbia man and a 16-year-old Lexington girl have been killed.
Their names have not been released.
The SUV driver and another teen were taken to a Columbia hospital for treatment.
Jones says the wreck remains under investigation.
