A man died after a traffic accident that happened around 4:30 p.m. Thursday on Red Bluff Road about six miles east of Loris in Horry County.
According to the Horry County Coroner's Office, Jeffrey Wilson, 44, of Longs died about 8:30 p.m. at the hospital.
Highway Patrol says the driver of the truck Wilson was in, David Stalvey of Conway was flown to the hospital by helicopter. The driver of the other truck, Sheila Richards of Tabor City, NC, and her passenger were taken to the hospital by ambulance. Their conditions have not been released.
Troopers say the trucks hit head-on on Red Bluff Road. Highway Patrol's special accident investigation team is looking into the crash.
