(AP) -- Police think the shooting deaths of a Simpsonville couple were a murder-suicide.

Multiple media outlets reported that officers were called to a home about 3 p.m. Wednesday after someone reported hearing gunshots.

A Greenville County sheriff's SWAT team tried to get a response from someone in the house by using a bullhorn. Simpsonville Police Lt. Ralph Bobo says officers then broke in a front window and found the bodies.

Greenville County Deputy Coroner Karie Cain says the victims were 58-year-old James T. Bazzle and 45-year-old Traci L. Grant. Cain said autopsies were planned Thursday.

She says investigators think Grant died before Bazzle.

Bobo says the shootings appeared to be the result of a domestic dispute.
