(AP) -- Democratic congressional candidate Rob Miller says he will work to scrap the federal "No Child Left Behind" education law if he is elected to the U.S. House.
Miller talked about his education plan Thursday, which includes providing tax credits and college tuition reimbursements for teachers who agree to work at underperforming schools or districts.
Miller says he thinks new college graduates should have more ability to negotiate with student loan providers and incentives should be given to encourage grads to pay off their loans faster.
Miller says he wants to streamline the administration at the U.S. Education Department.
Miller is trying to unseat Republican U.S. Rep. Joe Wilson.
