Police have called off a manhunt in Darlington and Chesterfield counties. Sheriff Sam Parker of Chesterfield county says they got a tip that Terry Turnage was hiding out on Patrick Highway near the Darlington county line.
Parker say Turnage is wanted for grand larceny out of Florida, but could be connected to a murder in Florida as well. He says deputies began searching Highway 102 through Society Hill and Hartsville, just after 6 pm Sunday night.
Sheriff parker says they called off the search after about four hours of searching, but they will continue to patrol the area in search of Turnage.
