A man is dead after an accident with an Amtrack train in Florence County. The incident happened at 5:40 Saturday morning on North Old Georgetown Road.
The victim is 47-year-old Dennis Skaf. State troopers say Skaf who was driving a pickup truck went around the flashing gates. They were down at the time.
The victim is from Jacksonville, Florida. officials say he was in the area on a hunting trip. No autopsy will be performed.
