The son of President Ronald Reagan was on the Grand Strand Thursday, to deliver the keynote address at the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting.
Michael Reagan's message was simple - cast a ballot in the upcoming election.
The former conservative radio host reminded the crowd the decisions we make today, will determine the future of the United States. "My father said in '76 -back then- the decisions we make back then are going to affect the people who'll be around for the 300th birthday of the US. Decisions we make today are going to determine the future. Are they going to look back at this generation and cuss us or are they going to applaud us for making right decision that'll allow us to keep the freedoms that we used to have?"
Reagan also talked about his childhood years with his father and how President Reagan's ideals shaped him to be the person he is today.
Michael Reagan is now the spokesperson for Reagan PAC. He also works with The Reagan Nation, which is a political non-profit created to modernize the public policy priorities of the former president.
