DJ Mixin' Dixon passed away Friday night. Horry County Coroner Robert Edge says he died from a heart attack. He's been a fixture in the radio business in and around Myrtle Beach for decades. His real name was Wilbur Dixon Morrison, Jr.
A memorial service has been tentatively set for next Saturday, though final details will be released later. McMillan Small funeral home in Myrtle Beach is handling the arrangements. DJ Mixin' Dixon was 53-years-old.
