Conway Police have charged Anthony Walter McGill, 40, of Conway with two counts of Burglary 2nd Degree, two counts of Petit Larceny, Malicious Damage Over $1,00 but less than $5,000, and Attempted Burglary.
McGill was arrested on Saturday.
Conway police say Friday, September 17, they responded to a Conway police officers responded to 2069 Hwy 501 E because someone was trying to break into an ATM.

Saturday, around 12:30 in the morning, police responded to Bakers Pawn on 3rd Avenue in reference to an attempted burglary. The suspect hadn't gotten in, but police did find a flathead screw driver at the scene and the front door handle was broken. The business gave police surveillance video of the attempted burglary. Officers say they identified the suspect as McGill.
Several hours later, on routine patrol, they say they discovered an electrical room door on 4th Avenue had been broken into and copper pipes stolen. Officers say they learned McGill was responsible for the breakin and theft and arrested him at the Delta Motel.
Police say before arresting McGill, he also removed copper pipes from the A/C units behind a business on 3rd Avenue.
