A non-profit assisted living facility opened its doors in Conway Friday.
Anderson Oaks is a new 30,000 square foot facility that can house 80 residents. More than $6 million in USDA Rural Development Direct Loan Funds were used to build it.
And because it's a non-profit facility, residents will find everything they need to live comfortably at a lower cost. Anderson Oaks has a game room, a secured patio, a full kitchen, wheelchair accessible showers and even a bus.
"We'll be taking residents out, have activities here in the building. There's a lot of one-on-one TLC care that is taking place here and will continue here," said Janice Flecknoe, the executive director at Anderson Oaks.
Anderson Oaks is accepting applications. It's located off Highway 90 in Conway.
