Just after 5:00 p.m. Monday, a man walked into the CVS Pharmacy on South Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach and ordered the pharmacy technician to give him "Oxys and Roxies," slang terms for two narcotic pain killers.
According to witnesses, the man, wearing a navy hoodie and a dark ski mask, put a bag on the pharmacy counter and ordered the woman behind the counter to put the drugs in the bag.
The man did not show a weapon.
Once he got the drugs, he ran out of the store, got into a car and was seen heading toward 5th Avenue South. Witnesses were not able to provide a description of the car.
According to a police report, 142 tablets of Oxycontin valued at $2,118 and 214 tablets of Oxycodone valued at $289 were taken.
