The Town of Atlantic Beach is faced with yet another lawsuit.

Town leaders discussed the suit at Monday night's meeting.

Former police chief Randy Rizzo says Atlantic Beach owes him his wages. Rizzo claims the town took money from his pay that should have been put in a retirement account, but wasn't. He says the town also didn't pay him a severance which was spelled out in his contract.

He's suing for an unspecified amount of damages, plus the more than $38,000 he says the town owes him.

Rizzo was fired from the town last year after being arrested for disorderly conduct.

The town has 30 days to respond to the lawsuit.

Just last month, Windy Price sued the town for $2 billion, claiming the town is violating her church's freedom of religion, freedom of speech and is conspiring against the church.
