(AP) -- HARTSVILLE, S.C. (AP) - A South Carolina school is hosting an annual event devoted to detecting cancer early.
Coker College on Friday is hosting its 20th annual National Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program. The American Cancer Society and the Cancer Action Network invite all breast and cervical cancer survivors to the free program and ceremony.
The event is being held in the school's Elizabeth Boatwright Coker Performing Arts Center in Hartsville.
Organizers say they are providing information on early detection and treatment.
