The Myrtle Beach Downtown Redevelopment Corporation surveyed 300 people on the boardwalk this summer and got good news.
On a scale of one to five, people scored the new Myrtle Beach boardwalk a 4.5.
The Redevelopment Corporation is, of course, happy about the news. It says it will use information from the survey to make the boardwalk even better.
After decades of planning, the boardwalk opened on May 15, 2010.
The 1.2 mile long oceanfront promenade was completed ahead of schedule and within its $6 million budget.
