(AP) -- Local voters got a chance to hear from candidates for Horry County School Board Wednesday.
The Horry County Education Association and the League of Women Voters hosted a candidate's forum in Conway.
Seven school board candidates were there, answering questions from voters about property taxes, school funding and other issues.
One person who was there says she came out of the forum knowing more about the candidates and the issues, but was still a little disappointed. "There doesn't seem to be a solution with the funding. there's a wide gamut of possibilities. But at the same time, you just don't have one person who can get everything done we need," Anita Moran, from Conway, said.
Moran says she hasn't decided who to vote for on school board.
The last day to register to vote is October 2. Election day is November 2.
