CONWAY, S.C. (AP) -- A South Carolina university is offering folks a chance to experience college for free - at least for a couple of days.

The Lifelong Learning Institute at Coastal Carolina University in Conway hosts "Free Week" beginning Tuesday.

Through Thursday, folks can attend lectures and demonstrations of the college's noncredit courses for this fall. They will also be able to meet teachers and staff and register for those courses.

The lifelong learning courses begin Monday and include 300 classes and workshops this fall semester. They're held in locations in Conway, Myrtle Beach and Litchfield Beach.
