Christopher Nowlin says he has been subjected to less favorable terms and conditions of employment than his white co-workers.

He argues he was making $16.00 an hour, while a white co-worker was making $100.00 an hour.

His lawsuit says he was discriminated against on the basis of his race and the basis of his refusal to participate in illegal activity. It also states Nowlin was asked several times to change rulings by the city and to rule in certain ways by the city.

Nowlin is still employed by the city.

City officials say at this time, they can't comment on the lawsuit.
