CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) -- The new bus from the C-SPAN network is making stops along the South Carolina coast this week.

The new high-tech bus that took to the road in June stops at Garrett Academy of Technology in North Charleston on Tuesday, followed by a stop at The Citadel.

The Charleston County School of the Arts in North Charleston hosts the bus on Wednesday.

The new bus helps students through multimedia programs and allows them to experience the network's public affairs offerings.

C-SPAN - the Cable-Satellite Public Affairs Network - is run by the cable television industry as a public service.
