Lieutenant Governor Andre' Bauer delivered 50 fans to the Leatherman Senior Center. He also delivered fans to an adult day care center in Myrtle Beach.

The fans will go out to needy seniors who receive home delivered meals programs, like 'Meals on Wheels.' The donations are a part of the lieutenant governor's Palmetto Tomorrow Foundation.

"Just one more gesture to show a little love and compassion to somebody that may need a little help during a tough time," Bauer said.

This is the fourth year that Bauer's foundation has provided fans and blankets to seniors across the state. The foundation is funded through private citizens and corporate sponsors including Walmart and Blue Cross Blue Shield.
