This weekend marks the third year of the Gay Pride festival in Myrtle Beach.
Last year the city's Gay and Lesbian community threw a three day festival downtown. The organizers of the the event say this year will be even bigger.
The theme is "Putting Unity in our Community" and they hope to let people know it's okay to come out of the closet.
"The Myrtle Beach pride festival community is to unify and bring together all the members of our gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community," says organizer Gary Finkenbiner.
The major gay pride event is scheduled all day Saturday, with a festival at the Myrtle Beach train depot.
