Bobby Marion Shaw, Jr. was charged with with voluntary manslaughter in the death of his brother.
Florence police charged Bobby Marion Shaw, Jr, 58, with murder in the death of his brother.
Police say the two were at their mother's home on Marlboro Street about 9:00 p.m. Wednesday. They were visiting their mother because she had been sick. Police say they started arguing over a cell phone and that's when Shaw shot his brother.
Florence County Coroner Bubba Matthews identified the man killed as Robert Leon Shaw, 54.

Florence County Coroner Bubba Matthews has identified the man killed in a shooting Wednesday night as Robert Leon Shaw, 54.
Florence police say Shaw was shot by his brother, 59, who is now on the run. Police have not released the brother's name.
The shooting happened at a home on East Marlboro Street in Florence just after 9:00 p.m.
According to officers, Shaw and his brother exchanged words and Shaw's brother shot him.
Coroner Matthews says an autopsy is being done Thursday morning.
