Police say three people found dead in a Florence County home were shot to death.
Deputies say neighbors found the bodies of two women and a man inside a mobile home on Cromer Lane, just after 5:00 p.m. Monday.
Police secured the scene to gather evidence.
Neighbors tell us a man lived in the home alone.
They say he was a good person and were shocked to learn that he and two others were dead.
"I didn't even know what was happening. We came up there, and it's a very sad thing to happen. I could never expect anything to happen like that to him. You know, he's been there a long, long time," the victim's next door neighbor, Dorothy Cromer, told us.
"The scene is being very thoroughly investigated by our investigations and forensics department. At this time, I'm sorry that I don't have anything else that I can really tell you, but as soon as we have other additional information, we'll let you know," said Florence County Sheriff's Captain Mike Nunn at the scene.
Police won't say if they have a person of interest, or a suspect in connection with the shootings.
Florence County Coroner Bubba Matthews says the bodies are being sent to MUSC in Charleston for autopsies.
He plans to release the victims' names when he notifies all of their family members.
