The Hartsville Police Department charged Wayne Andrew Crider, 58, from Danielsville, Georgia with two counts of criminal solicitation of a minor.

According to arrest warrants, beginning in May 2008, Crider solicited sex on the internet from who he believed was a minor girl, while it was really an undercover Hartsville police officer.

Crider's bond was set at $5,000. He will be prosecuted by the South Carolina Attorney General's Office.

The Hartsville Police Department is a member of the S.C. Attorney General's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

This is the 196th arrest for the task force.
